RIP Alan (Happypin)

There you have it, folks. If you want to leave this mortal coil with dignity, take a lesson from Alan. It’s simpler than you might think. Be kind to yourself and to one another. ❤️ Rest in peace, my fellow pinhead. I hope that when my time comes, I receive even half the praise you have.

I'll echo what Chris said above and add that the Scottish crew lost one of our own last year (John Budd) to cancer and we held a tournament last month in his honour. Just a thought, but might be a nice gesture if someone down south held something and invited Alans family to it. We invited Johns partner to our pinball meet and held a special game of stall/barrel ball on Labyrinth in his honour with a trophy and a a case of Tennents (Johns fav beer) to the winner. Ailsa and I also both said a few words. Johns partner really got a lot out of hearing the stories. I assume Alans family might appreciate a day dedicated to him in one of the south league meets. Hopefully someone can organise a little something in a few months and his family get as much out of it as Johns family did. RIP.
