RFM Wiring Question

My RFM is running the original PC and CRT. There's a small circuit board which I assume is a video booster (?) and I have had 2 wires come loose.

Wire 1 - white

Wire 2 - silver.

If you look at the pic I hope someone can tell me which one goes where. Only 2 locations (labelled Grnd and Sync) but I don't want to damage anything.

Annoyed I don't have a pic of it from before.

Thanks in advance for any help.

White is normally sync but you won't do any harm putting them in the wrong places only it won't be in sync

I am all original , but I don’t recognise that board . Where is it located ?
Think that board could be an add on as the components on the board don’t match the age of the machine 🤔

It's an old ultramarc vga/cga adapter.. Defo not original, monitor or pc has been replaced

Hmmm....maybe something has been changed then. Its defo running a CRT. Would someone change the PC but not change the CRT to a flat panel? If I took a pic of the inside of the pc box.......could you tell?

Yeah the could have replaced the crt with an old vga monitor at some stage

And then put a CRT back in again? So do I not need this additional card/circuit board?

Thanks for the help earlier......I meant to say itis up and running now.....playing great.

They decased an old pc monitor and used thag instead of the original crt so needed the little adapter you see there to convert the cga signal to vga for the new one
