I don't know much about these so just looking for a decent reliable machine.

Thanks Ashbo, Iooks like a nice machine. I'm no expert, but I thought it was a bit pricey at £2800. The last couple sold on here went for around £1700-1900. I know prices have gone crazy, but thought I would ask on here first.

Not seen a lot for £1400.. I’d say with the new code it’s one of Williams finest. It’s a unique game!

It is a great game - someone asked me earlier about how much they go for now and I said £1500 upwards. Thinking about it afterwards that is probably £1500 if you are very lucky and its scruffy as hell!

I actually enjoy RFM being a bad player. Stuff like Elwin games with complex code seem to be beyond me. Give me an old 90s bally williams.

That was still the bargain of the last 5 years in my view. Seriously what else can you get for under £2k now, that gives you this much fun?? A hurricane????? ha ha ha ha, No!

Something else that's in play here is there are still rfm games that haven't been 'restored' or 'minted up' as they still earned well on site long after their time was up. So the price range may have a wider reach starting alittle lower than would otherwise be. Most dmd era wms pins have now been 'restored' a few times over now and so dont start at 'operator fresh' levels anymore.

I love my RFM.
The cabinet it a little tatty but doesn’t detract from an awesome game. Would never let it go for less than 2k if I ever found something to replace it with that would give as much fun. Seems crazy to me that it’s cheaper than a lot of early 90’s DMD machines.

Jim’s code is awesome and with a video amplifier, the crt is really vibrant and clean.

I though my rfm was going to be a keeper, but, call me shallow, it looked out of place in a lineup, so it had to go. .

I was desperate to get one after I initially played one at the slam. It gets old really quickly though.
I also had problems with the dreaded prism card and it took ages to source a replacement.
I had dreams of them adding a Star Wars converter kit but never managed to track one down.
£2800 does seem very high. I’d still expect to get a decent one for a grand less than that. Good luck tracking one down.

It’s a fun game , with the added wow factor of the design . Strangely over the years has always lagged behind in value conpared to some other regular pins of the 90s .
I almost bought a local one at 1600 about a year or so ago. I have a feeling in the current heated market and the surge of interest in pins though that may be changing.

Just a wee bump for this.....

I had my first shot of an RFM during a visit to Arcade Club in Bury last wekend.......loved it.
