Evening all, in tandem for the search for my grail pin (MET Prem), I've decided a RFM would be great (and possibly also something I could make space for even if I ever find my grail pin)

Looking for a nice RFM with thr updated code (and 6 ball trough? Not sure what that's for, will need to read up on that - new 6 ball multiball?) Possibly LCD screen (is it possible to add scanlines to get the CRT effect?) and I love the look of the Mini Pin Ciri (?) Saucer mod and the idea of black light mod?

Preferably I'd like to find one family near to me (I'm East london) so that I can take a look at it etc/easier transport, but would consider anywhere.

I know Retroheed is also looking for one, so checked with him first that I was o.k to post a wanted ad, as don't want to step on his toes/affect his search - apparently there's a few around.

Feel free to DM me if you have one - cheers! 👍

Now I like this :) "is it possible to add scanlines to get the CRT effect?

Yes, depending on what resolution the PC is outputting and what the LCD monitor will accept. An OSSC should be able to do this. Now you got me thinking the same, I just sold an OSSC for £45 the other week 😂

I actually have an OSSC for my retro systems. I I'd imagine a cheaper option, as I don't believe you need great upscaling like with retrogames, would be a cheap little scanline generator which you just place in the signal in between pc and monitor? (Think it'll have a little dial for scanline intensity etc, but will maybe look in to it and report back)

Messaging here then its fair to give a heads up to both of you at the same time. I was considering offering my RFM for sale either at or after Pinfest as I have an Ironman to work on now. Previous owner did an lcd conversion, not updated to latest, runs on 1.6 but turned out very nice condition to look at and very nice fast to play after having a full (and I mean full!) Playfield strip and rebuild both sides and upgraded with the expensive high quality LED's. Given the work done it wont be going for cheap but please feel free to pm or speak to me at pinfest.
Cheers, Andy

Thanks very much @PUP sounds a real nice one. Can you let us both know the price please myself and @Den - aka Wolfgang are working together to get what we both want and maybe we both likely have a budget in mind for the right one.

This is now the 6h RFM that I have been offered :)

Hi Brian it is a worker, its the MK2 version from 1988. Had a big collection of fruit machines at one time as they were so much cheaper than buying pins. That said still got about 20 of them left, I like the ones from this era particularly PCP's like Test Pilot, Blue streak Cloud 9 etc
