Replacing Flipper Link(s)

Please excuse my ignorance, my left flipper link has snapped and want to check next steps.

I’m wondering, should I just replace the link, or is it easier to replace link + plunger?

As a matter of course, should I replace both left and right?

Is there anything else I should routinely replace when I’m in there?

Thanks in advance

You can buy just the plunger and link or the whole thing.
Left

Right

If you haven't recently rebuilt the flippers I'd change both at once, it's good to have them renewed around the same time.

Definitely replace the coil sleeves too. My advice would be to get a full rebuild kit, I imagine the rest of the flipper mech isn't in tip top condition if your link managed to break like that.

Thanks for the advice, the link and crank are in stock and it won’t hurt to have some spares.

Everything else looks fine, game is still < 500 (short 😆) plays. there’s no play in flippers / assembly

Did not forget there should be a small metal bushing in that linkage, I’ve had pins with play in the flippers due to the bushings being left out before 🤦🏼‍♂️
