Removing mylar from Earthshaker

My Earthshaker has worn mylar in front of each sling shot, and I am considering removing it. I've never had a problem removing mylar from WPC games using freeze spray, but just wondered if it's unwise to give it a go on a slightly older SYS 11 game.

Any idea whether it should be no more difficult than on a newer game like TAF or TZ, or whether I should leave it where it is?

Unfortunately it's always *always* riskier on older games.

Could be fine, full mylar was pulled on my old ES and it only lost paint in a couple small areas though it lost most insert art....... But best prepare for the worst case scenario :/

Well I decided that it was in too poor condition to stay - especially as I have a playfield protector to put on so I would like the playfield to be as flat as possible.

Here's the results: no paint lift at all - except a tiny bit by the 6X insert. The other marks are just snow.
