I've used a little spanner to remove or install these posts, which is tedious if there's a lot around them you can't remove.

If you have one of those 6 in 1 screwdrivers you can take the end off and turn round, without a head on they make a good deep nut driver for those posts
I use the sockets from my 1/2” drive socket set that I use for car repairs.
There are long shafted 1/4 inch sockets, but some are more hollow than others

Why are you buying something when you have a palnut removal tool, which is exactly what you need for the job...?
Try doing that on a game where there's ball guides around it where the guides are hammered in and effort to remove and reinstall. The photo isn't of the game I'm working on just a random one
