Hi
Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay to powder coat lock bar, rails, hinges, legs and coin door

Thanks in advance

Compared to the cost of chroming, it’s peanuts.

But yeah I’d also say in the £100 region. I use a place in Aldershot called Aurora Powder Coating. They do a lot of Pin parts and have a quick turnaround.

Great quality as well 👍🏻

Depends entirely on the powder coat.

Basic Powdercoats with no sparkles will be a lot cheaper.
Agree with Ant and Neil somewhere in the region of £100 or less.

A bit of advice on the coin door, use new if you can even good condition old doors can be a pain in the ass and due to the increased thickness may no longer have a smooth lock and release.

Custom powders will set you back a lot more.

Just dont boast to the powder coater how expensive pinball is as a hobby and how much you spend on them. A lot of small companies (most powder coaters locally to me are 5 employees or less) quote on what they can get out of you!
I just tell them they are for trims for football tables. Get hinges, siderails, lockdown bars and legs done for £80. Fancy finishes 10-30% more.

Doesn’t it depend on what colour you want?
General RAW is cheaper…If they don’t stock the candy colour you’re after , they have to buy it in.
I’d feel embarrassed giving a local company 100 quid in such a case.
I was quoted 120 but they do such a great job I pay a bit extra on top for their efforts.
They give me quick turnaround and take extra care not to warp anything.
A fair bit of labour involved too chemically striping old powder off etc….
