Sold POTC Stern

This POTC stern is my first game purchased in May last year, i made the inexperienced mistake of buying from HLD at circa £6.5k. I love the game and think it’s great fun, but have since established that long term the modern sterns are more for me, and have subsequently purchased a JP Prem, and have a Godzilla prem on the way from Phil at PH. So now need to move pirates on. Playfield and the game are in absolute perfect condition, couple of very minor scratches to the cabinet , I know I’m going to take a big hit but heyho that’s the way it goes.
Looking for £4.3k Martin is bringing my Godzilla down in a couple of weeks, so could look to organise him taking pirates away then.

Fair play for pricing it correctly and not ripping off the next person! Damn that HLD I know they have a market for ppl who don't want to deal with us nerds and just want to by from a show room etc... but DAAAAMMN you get bent over buying from them and then have to take a big loss when moving on.

That’s a pretty depressing thought. I tend to forget about vat on machines. £5300 is still very overpriced but not quite at the same “drop your pants level”

Not as much VAT. A dealer only pays VAT on the difference between their purchase and selling price if bought second hand without paying VAT from a private seller. That's why they can buy for more when it seems like there's no margin due to the VAT.
