On my potc which i just bought, when i shoot the ship, the up post comes up and holds the ball behind the afore mentioned up post and the one way gate like it should, but then it don't release the ball quick enough and the m/c goes into a ball search. Looking at vids on youtube it traps the ball for 2 or 3 secs then drops down to release it.
The up post on mine is free and not binding anywhere so is it a software problem? Thanks Ken

no Chris, he means the post that holds the ball when the ship is sinking, not a the UK skill posts.

The fault you have is down to the coin retaining bracket being erm worn... if you look at the bracket you will see there is a round mark in it, you need to get a grinder and grind it off and your fault will go... or file it off... or replace it...

Phil

I know i'm old and certain areas of my brain went on holiday years ago but " the coin retaining bracket" ??
Have i spilt something here.
I shall remove all the assembly and look for faults/damage/wear and report back tomorrow.

Thanks Phil, spot on as usual. Was indeed the plunger fouling the "***" on the coil bracket. 2 mins filing cured the problem. Thanks all
