Well had a few weeks now to enjoy my first Pin and have to say I’m really please with it. Was brought from Pinball owners from a chap called Geoff from Milton Keynes. He had brought it from a chap called Tony from Nottingham I think. From what I can tell it’s HUO judging by the fact it looks like it’s never had a coin mech fitted is that a fair assumption?

Any how machines in perfect condition so far as I can tell. Think I’ve managed to add a few photos so let me know what you think.

Got a few LED’s on it in the right places and I’ve just added a LED trough light.

Obviously I want to keep the machine in mint condition as the goal will be to trade next year for a LOTR or something similar so any advice on how to keep it tip top would be appreciated.

nice pin -got one myself with the same amount of use- can i just mention that the large clear plastic screen is missing from your pin-it protects the pirate ship from air ball- a flying ball would destroy your ship , the screen bolts on to the plastic snaked shaped ramp-to be honest it looks better without it :)

clean it monthly- the balls drag dust and muck around the playfield, you could use NOVUS cleaner and wax or guitar wax, makes it super fast, even more brutal:thumbs:

suppose how many games he plays Lee??:hmm: 1 game a week may mean 1 clean a year? not like a major strip down, just try to keep the track lines off the playfield- my WW has a plastic runner underneath that loves to collect muck:)

Yeah looks a bit like a sneeze guard so I removed it. Not had a massive problem with air balls so think the risks low.

Would love to know where all the crap comes from. Wipe it down once a month may be a little with novus which seems to keep it nice shiney and fast !

think its metal on metal- my sneeze guard is under the playfield- just bought a LOTR-to sit at the side of POTC - they look great together

LOTR is next on the list although I only have space for one while the kids still need toy space.

Still haven’t managed 4 winds yet so not time to move on yet !

Hi,
is that recommended for all pin tables? Won't the wax discolour? (Having 1 or 2 <1980's tables a few years ago and having to had got rid of them, I'm now wanting to buy a more modern one, and obviously look after it!)

just fitted a shaker in my LOTR- its awesome! thanks to mypinballs for the chips to update the software, they got the shaker running sweet

We connected a shaker to the ship flasher in our POTC and it really fits in with the gameplay, I would recommend it to all POTC owners.
