#1 Yep. Tap them gently with a hammer. Shouldn't be glued.

#2 I generally don't unless really have to. Have always been able to clean them and area surrounding in situ. If you must though .....Prise them gently up at each end but put something underneath to protect the playfield ie small piece of wood, lever against it with wide flatblade screwdriver or similar.

Posts, yes tap from undeath. Bull bars or whatever they are called, gently prise up with a flat screwdriver working along its length being careful not to damage the playfield.
