Possibly Having a blond moment - cant play more than 1 player

Hey guys, ive had my Operation thunder for a few weeks now and is finally fixed enough to play a few games on for the xmas period with a few friends, My only problem is that it only seems to play 1 player, its set to freeplay and haven't tried putting it to play via the coin mech system but surely that should not matter. I have looked through the manual but it doesn't seem to say anything about playing multiplayer but I know the machine is a 4 player pin.

Is there anything im completely missing here?

Sorry to state the obvious but are you pressing the start button multiple times to add more players? ( some one else here didn't know that recently.. )

ha, yeah tried that, doesn't seem to do anything, I thought that would be how you would add more players, I was thinking there was a option like tournament play or something!?

Someone here is sure to know but I haven't come across a machine yet where pressing the start button didn't add players. Like you say there's probably a setting in the menu.

Just been for a play, since I haven't set a score yet ive reset the same setting and now seems to work by multiple presses of the start button, how odd. thanks guys!

I think it's different with gotts in you don't press the start for more players. Peter aka moonraker is good with gotts

Sounds like you still had to set the machine up after power on if you're talking about tournament mode or not. Pushing the start button at this time will probably help set the appropriate setting(s). The last press probably started the game for you hence thinking numerous presses = only 1 player.

In freeplay just press the start button and the game should start. Press it again should add another player.
