Pokemon Pinball Hype Thread

I have had one phone conversation with you when buying my FF Prem NiB and was a little apprehensive with first time nerves spending that much and you basically just said go to the website and pay the deposit.
I decided instead of thinking you rude, I'd go with 'efficient and conscious of both our time' 😂

hahaha, it is the most efficient way! Ask questions over the phone/have a chat but order online works a dream!!

Basing this off of some clips I've watched:

Looks like you have four pokemon (Bulb, Squir, Charm and Pika) in your team and you rotate between them in battle if you hit the correct shots.
Bulbasaur - hit green targets = hurt enemy pokemon.

Catching pokemon right now just seems to fill the pokedex, but they intend to allow you to expand your team? Not sure.

Listening to Stern explain just how intense Pokémon Co were to work with - and how detailed they analysed all assets used to ensure consistency across the franchise.
I can only imagine how glacial updates for Pokémon will be.

So much potential… hopefully it works out.🤞

That might be a good thing, means they might also be testing the code, where the normal updates aren't necessary

I’m clearly fifty years too old for this. Absolutely no part of me wants to stick money into one. I just don’t understand it at all. Looks like a fisher price toy and those call outs would absolutely do my head in.

Presumably that means it will go on to outsell every other game that’s come out.

I remember vaguely watching the cartoon hungover on Saturday morning and thinking it was **** but would soon be over and wonky donkey and Danii Minogue might make an appearance.

Can’t decide if I’m just a grumpy old ****er or if there’s a massive cut off point for older people with the theme.

I'm fine with jt every game being for me. I have seen it described as a gateway to draw younger people into buying games. I wonder if the need it now generation will wait at least a year for code. Stern better step it up for that to work.

My 6yo is seeing it as a gateway into pinball

Happily, he doesn't have a casting vote...

😆 😆 I think the proof is in the money - highest grossing IP, billions ahead of anything else
Stern probably NEED it to be a success, I cant imagine what license fee they paid.

Very much a polarising theme. Doesn’t float my boat. However I can see LE’s being very sought after and selling for more than rrp. I think Phil said only 6 made it to the uk!
