Playfield touch ups on Radical

Hi guys

Recently bought a Radical(non diamond, DOH!!!) which has more wear than i'd like. We're not talking lots(i'm fussy) but
small areas that are back to bare wood.

Now, would i be right in my purchase of a cheap starter kit of acrylic paints, and using a fine brush, just lightly touch up the area
in question.

But then, how about protecting it. I've just bought a small bottle of clear nail varnish on ebay as not brave enough to go into Boots and buy some :). Now if i apply this very finely indeed, again with a fine brush very lightly, then polish once set; would this be ok??

Really not wanting to strip the entire playfield in one hit to be able to clearcoat it. Too much work and frankly not worth it.

Any ideas out there?

Simon

Mylar  of course. That could be a very good option once ive done the touch ups. I've seen sheets for sale somewhere. Thankfully its mylared around pop bumpers.

Cant wait to start restoring this pin to be honest.

Many thanks. Si
