Playfield Clear Coating

So I've read all about clear coating on various pinball forums. I know about the safety precautions ect. What I'm interested to know is, what brand of 2PAC lacquer are people using in the UK? I want to clear an old Gottlieb EM playfield. I've seen in the states that they rave about Dupoint chroma clear. Unfortunately that stuff isn't readily available in the UK and what I did find was £400 for 5 litres! Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm interested too. I'm also interested if the experts' advice is to wax rather than clearcoat an old EM?

I’m asking as I plan on airbrushing some of the worn art work. I have the facilities to spray so it makes more sense doing it myself as I will need to lay multiple coats during the restoration.

@tomds87 - so when you airbrush do you do one colour, then clearcoat, then a 2nd colour, etc. ?
