Thanks to Rus for identifying that this isn't a Whirlwind specifc part. I'm after one of the plastic locking nuts pictured below. They have them at Marco but I'm hoping someone in the UK can sort me out with one. Apparently, they're used on TAFG, SC, Dr Dude, NGG and TOTAN as well so let me know if you have one for sale.
