Andy, is the rough playfield on Radical dirt, wear or both? Not there on the Friday night, hence asking now. Ta.

HH: my childhood summarised in one pin.
One day I'll recapture my youth.

And if no one buys the BH for that price, with the awesome pascal cpu - i give up.

Black hole set up steep,is a mega pin,and even with the limited Gottlieb speech board(compared to say Centaurs speech),it's still an uber game.took me 18 months to find ANY BH about 7 years or whatever ago.
People are talking about HH,but for me even if both had Pascal's and were same price it would be a no branier - BHole any day.HH is great, just aint no BHo_O
The multiball and speech mods to HH make it closer, but, for me BH still wins. And I know as I was the second person ever to do those modes, but BH for me is right up there - even against my AFM and TX - and that's saying summat!!

BLACK HOLE is the THE most awesome pin ever! Totally onside with @TYHO on that one. It's just got "something". I don't know enough about pinball yet and haven't been playing long enough to make an experienced statement, but it's probably something to do with "flow". The game just works.

BH was almost my first even pin, opted for Judge Dredd instead. Not sure that was a wise choice.....

I would have opted for the BH myself @JMP

But i am rather partial to all things '80s that make use of a vocoder (spelling?)

I am in desperate need of a random windfall. My Grandad used to send me £1,000 cheques. He was beginning to lose his marbles, but it was nice, bless him.

Actually, that reminds me... I think I've been on the wrong PAYE tax code for the last two and a half years... Mmm... now that could be worth chasing... ;)

Radical is awesome ....... Need more space damn you self certification mortgages DAMN you to hell and back aghhhhhh

Andy can you update us all on what is left after the weekend. Had some great games on earthshaker but noticed the for sale had disappeared sun noon.
Cheers

I assume NLA means no longer available

I think everyone was allowed in the tournament area just not allowed to play machines unless you where in the relevant tournament...

Yes. NLA. From my early days in supermarket shelf filling !!

And as the tournament was open to all, you could have just entered and had a go. But I do think the signs could be a little less austere.

Lol as a pants player. I dont wish everyone to know. The signs were very descriptive keep the f out if your not in the tourny

I think there's a reason why it was £800, but still worth it IMHO. My born-again pinball mate (still beat me in the Open, though) was playing it all weekend as it took all his money in the 80's, I had to kick him off several times to let others get on. I can only apologise on his behalf.
