Having an odd issue recently from my Android phone (Android version 16). Clicking hyperlinks from email notifications fail to load.

Re-entering the URLs from the address bar (refresh) seems to get it going again.

Has been happening for the last week or so.

Thought it was just me. I click on the link in the email (Outlook, Android) it takes me to the Pinball Info site but just see a black screen. If I refresh it loads.

Same issue on different devices.

Same, I tend to keep the tab open on my phone, going back to it every time just had a black screen and I have to refresh, probably since about 4 days ago if it helps?

Similar here, been like it a few days. Click my home screen shortcut, fails 1st time, works 2nd time without fail. Same with an email notification link. Android.

Hmmm.

I'm currently trying out some new software which blocks IPs that are making too many requests (rate limiting), as well as blocks some nasty VPN traffic.

that may well be because the cookie has timed out... tho when you way "refresh". As per below, timing is essential - if within the last 24/36 hours then its something i have done. If before this then it is something outaide of that :)

Hiya Kev - any chance you can be more specific please on timescales... I only installed the new software onto Production yesterday afternoon... so if it is indeed "a few days" then it's deffo not related.

I have had a couple of emails with regards to apple relay, which it seems to be blocking on occasion. working on that one..

EDIT - this seems like it;s causing a few issues, where people cant get to the site. I am working with one member to resolve this... please bear with me (saying that, if this was related to the work i was doing, you wouldnt be able to even access the site!)

May have started yesterday, can't be more specific sorry.

It’s definitely flagging the iCloud private relay. If I disable it. Then login and re-enable it, that seems to let me in still.

But I don’t even get a chance to login with it turned on, and the error message says it’s a permanent ban for the IP.

Have backed off the severity and asked the developer if there is anything that can be done to whitelist the icould private relays, seeing as so many people use them

Thanks for your help there Dan (are you still getting issues??)

Just had feedback from the developer....

Thank you for your feedback.

We have added a specific setting for this scenario in the upcoming release (1.0.6). With the new "Allow iCloud Private Relay" option, legitimate Apple users utilizing iCloud Private Relay will no longer be blocked, even if your VPN/Proxy protection is set to strict modes like "First Visit".

This option will be enabled by default with the update, so it should resolve the issue automatically without requiring further action on your part.

I'm impressed with the speed of that feedback! Awaiting the release to re-implement, and will see what happens... if it breaks again Dan please let me know!

Can you stick the website behind cloudflare? They do a lot of the security work for you.

I was toying with that, however with the outage last month i wasnt sure if it was a wise option.
I'll look into it again next week when i have more time!
Yeah I don’t think that will ever happen again… “touch wood”

If it did they would lose to much trust.

I'm having same problem as others, having to reload several.tkme to get site to refresh and come up, just hangs.

Been happening to me for about 4 days now. Thought it was my phone initially.
