A little guide to some places you really ought to visit if you're going over to New York anytime soon.

Pioneers,
138 West 29 St, Manhattan

White Water (Williams, 1993).

Brilliant little bar. Staff are really friendly and the Ghostbusters is set to free play! Wish i had found this place before my last day in New York.

Theatre of Magic (Bally, 1995)
Twilight Zone (Bally, 1993)
The Walking Dead (Pro) (Stern, 2014)

Nice little arcade that you can grab a beer in while you play. Machines take quarters but there is a machine to change your notes. All fully working, the odd broken plastic and one of rudys eyes missing from funhouse.

Cowgirl (Bar/Restaurant)
519 Hudson Street | New York

Machines: Cactus Canyon (Bally, 1998)
Perfect for a breakfast served by a quirky american cowgirl. Brilliant service and a good laugh.
First cactus canyon I've played. Machine itself was very dirty and the balls kept getting stuck on a gate. Weak flippers.

Boat Bar(Bar)
175 Smith Street, Brooklyn

Machines:
Iron Man (Stern, 2010)
Jurassic Park (Data East, 1993)

Actually love this place. If you like little quirky dive bars this is the street for you to drink. Cheap enough drinks and pinball!
Iron man machine would swallow your quarters though! Notes only on this one.
They were both switched off when we came in but they switched them on for us. Really helpful bar staff too. Good bar.

Bar Great Harry(Bar)
280 Smith St, Brooklyn

20160917_184144.jpg
Machines:
Creature from the Black Lagoon (Bally, 1992)
Ghostbusters (Pro) (Stern, 2016)
Theatre of Magic (Bally, 1995)

Could barely get to the bar as all the locals were sat round it at stools. Theatre of magic was out of order. Cftbl needed the flippers adjusting as it was impossible to make the kiss shot. Plunger has become weak so you couldn't make the skill kiss shot. Hologram didn't exist.
Ghostbusters worked fine though. Still would recommend has the street of bars is pretty cool.

I read an article about this place that had a Big Bang Bar - https://www.facebook.com/sunshine.pinball/
We was told to go to Sunshine Laundromat in Brooklyn. Only we took the subway to a place quite local and it was basically gang land. She didn't like the look of it so we took the subway back:(. Could of got my clothes washed and played pinball.
