I’m going to be in Barbican with a few hours to kill between meetings this week . Any ideas where I can play some pinball?

I’m checking pinformer but it’s often out of date

Swing on down to Sheperds Bush Andy. Brewdog opens at midday, they've got a Batman 66, ACDC, Tron, BBH and an X-Men. Great beers too. And bring your Baywatch down south for me haha

or chief coffee. Brewdog slightly easier to get to, walk upto st Pauls and get on central line.

couple of games four quarters east too.

Shockingly very few places spring to mind.

There were three machines in the gaming place on wardour st.

Waterloo’s hole in the wall had a ropey MM

There might be a pin upstairs in the hope and anchor in islington

Can’t think of any others apart from brewdog mentioned above

Chief Coffee. Turnham Green Underground station, Zone 2 on the district line. 1 minute walk from the station.
Also we’re 7 minutes on the 94 bus from Brewdog if you’re passing by there for a few games, jump off at Turnham Green station /Tabard pub.
Our line up is currently-

Monster Bash
Walking Dead LE
Deadpool
Guardians of the Galaxy
Ghostbusters
Medieval Madness
Cactus Canyon
Munsters (arriving in around a week)

Hi Chief
I so want to come and see you . It’s planned that I have between 3pm and 6pm (ie leave Barbican at 3 but need to be back there for 6 prompt) . So hopefully I have time

As above Chief and the Shep bush Brewdog are the best places if youre making a day of it. The Long Arm on Worship St is 10 mins walk from the Barbican, and has a nice Aerosmith, if you're only dipping in.

Tbh getting to west London from barbican and back doesn't give you much playing time.
The pins at las Vegas Wardour street have vanished from the window but played like ****e anyway.
Elvis is at Brewdog great tower street as well as Nicks suggestion

Chief is great

Shame there aren’t more places east / shore ditch ends or in the city

Surrey quays bowling alley has a pin. Last time I went it was CSI.

Does the 4 quarters in Peckham still have anything?

Also there was a pub in nunhead with a lost in space. Think it was the nuns head

The four quarters in Peckham has Star Trek and Ghostbusters. Four Quarters East in Hackney Wick has Ghostbusters and Avatar.

There is a new Brewdog coming in Paddington that will have 2 pins in from next week as well.

I just wanted to resurrect this thread since I have been to a couple more venues that have pinball machines.
Four Quarters have just opened a new site at Elephant and Castle. They have the usual collection of arcade classics along with 2 Data East pins Simpsons and Royal Rumble. Both play fairly well and are set at 2 quarters (50p) per game.

Next up is a new venue located in Wandsworth called Gravity. This place is amazing, they have Electric Go-Karts, bowling, mini golf, arcade games including a couple of pins (Stern AIQ & SW) that must have the loudest volume setting available as the sound distorts.

Resurrecting the thread as I’ve also been to Gravity now. They not only have indoor go-karting (!), mini golf, virtual reality gaming, and virtual darts, but they have five pins - a The Beatles tucked in behind the elevators downstairs, a Star Wars Pro next to a pillar near the entrance, and three pins next to the escalators on the top floor (A:IQ Pro, Mando Pro and LZ Pro).

A couple of kids were playing Star Wars when I arrived, but no one in Wandsworth know how to play pinball as I got a replay on Star Wars (in two games) and multiple high scores on A:IQ (again, only played it twice and the high scores were all in my second game). I’m sure the scores are laughable to anyone with an A:IQ at home (or who is half-decent at pinball). Not sure why I didn’t get a replay on A:IQ with the high score.

Funland near Russell Square is the closest place to central London.
25, 27 Brunswick Square, London WC1N 1AW

The Brunswick Centre, Funland. Typically has the 8 latest Stern games.
Funland currently has GZ Pro, Mando Pro, JP2 Prem, Rush Prem, The Beatles Gold, TMNT Prem, ST Prem, LZ Prem.

Doesn’t have a A:IQ or a SW, for some reason.

The Mando had a sticky right flipper the last time I went.
