I did find some peoples views on them quite out of perspective however. When those views don't gel with others and you give them the power to censor, well, its bound to happen. No big deal.

I'm assuming this refers to my originally deleting them Russ. As Nick stated above this forum is open to all, having pictures of topless ladies just doesn't send out a good message. Makes the place look 'cheap' quite frankly. It's been discussed before on here - the line has to be drawn somewhere or before you know it all sorts of way more inappropriate stuff is being on posted. Cheers.

Your opinion is noted, but does not neccesarily fit with my own, or even some of the other guys on here (could always do a poll?). It just so happens you have the power to decide which opinion suits you best and act on it. Again, no big deal although I can see why the Topless ones may cause people with families to feel awkward and embarrassed. I acknowledge that so it won't happen again.

Non topless ones though? Where do the rules stand on that? I could always get our lass to dress up in a burka, draped over Tron?

When I tried deleting, I tried to delete the topless ones only but it wouldn't let me (it converted them all to thumbnails which couldn't then be deleted). Like I said already, if you'd posted a couple / few of the more tasteful ones it would have been left :)

It's not what suits me best, it happens to be the forum line. All the admins are in full agreement on the inappropriateNess of the images posted. Just happened that I was the one to take action.
 
If you are looking for opinions then I have to say I side with Grizz on this one.
I love the ladies as much as the next man. And the pictures certainly don't offend me. But this is not the place for such pictures.
 
Please point me in the direction of the nearest topless ladies playing pinball forum, and ill sign up. Hehe.

No harm done, I'm not raging about it or anything. Its always good to know where people stand on such things.
 
Let me say this. I work for a rather large UK based company. HAD I opened those pictures on my work pc, the System IT boffins would have been alerted, and i could well have ended up loosing my job for viewing Pornographic images on my work machine.

I like a healthily unclad female as much as the next red blooded male, however please not here.

And Abaxas - it really doesn't need you wading in and "taking the Michael" to prove a point, if you please.

Come on guys - lets keep this place clean and happy :)

Full support for the actions of my fellow admins. A line has to be set at some point or this site can become unacceptable to a lot of people. I know a lot of users have young families, are married, or like Paul browse at work. It will come far harder to balance everyones needs if we let this go, no matter how much some of us enjoy the female form.
This is not just the view of some people but a belief that this is the best for the group in general and those who want to see such images can go find them on the internet quite easily.

The admin team is a healthy mix of people who run ideas past each other. It has a collective experience of running forums for quite a while and they have no desire to do more moderation than absolutely necessary as we would rather be playing pinball.
 
Isn't this a sign of us all getting old? Ie what we think is unacceptable is in reality the norm for the current youth.

But I would agree there should be no nips or clams on show.
 
It's 1.30am but this thread has kept me awake and tittering for an extra 10 minutes today. Particularly liked the chocolate starfish. Going to have to get me some of those.

Like @Paul I like to use my coffee breaks to read a few posts whilst at work. As I work from home I could disconnect from the company network and they'd be none the wiser, but my company has a fair usage policy and accessing a site like pinballinfo.com is perfectly acceptable. But too many fleshy pictures might set alarm bells ringing.

I used to own a 1954 Split screen Morris minor - and was a subscriber to "Minor Monthly" magazine... which I always thought was full of double entendres of a dodgy nature... what d'ya reckon?
