Just had Robin round to give my Independence Day (ID4) a quick tune up so it's now time to move it on.
The Good - plays well. DMD and boards all good (But see below re battery). Ramps are all good with no chipping / breakages
The Bad - some wear around the scoop, The red insert in front of the alien head has been touched up as has the area immediately in front of the head (See below)
The Ugly - Cab won't win any prizes, knocks and sun fade. Someone has also decided to replace the batteries with a rechargeable one - works fine but a bit of a mystery as to why they did it.
Quite an uncommon machine in the UK, it took me a few years to track one down. (Somehow recently ended up with two which is why I'm selling it). Was at the SCS and LPC, so can survive a hard weekend of play. I actually really rate the game, maybe not the deepest but good light hearted fun - in some ways reminds me of a cheap version of spider man with the cheesy call outs when you hit the ramps.
Price £850. Location SE London. Would make a great first table or addition to a larger collection.
Open to trades but I'm meant to be downsizing at the moment. Would be open to a similar value machine (JP or Lost in Space would be excellent but pretty much open to anything) or might be open to a 2 for 1 type trade (Can also add a Ripleys, SST, CP or Demo Man to make up the value). Would prefer not to stick loads of cash in as I'm meant to be selling rather than buying for the next few months.
Would prefer for the buyer to come and see/play the machine in person but happy to work with Martin regarding delivery if needed.
Some photos below (normal crappy camera shots I'm afraid.) Can take more photo for anyone interested
