Bride Of Pinbot as mentioned in my Earthshaker thread.

£800 or a trade +/- cash etc etc. I am also up for trading this with my Earthshaker for a 2 for 1 deal of some kind. Blah blah blah blah. And so on and so on.....

Fully working 'player's condition' machine. Game is by no means mint but it plays well with no faults.

Cab has a few dings here and there but not in bad nick overall really. The back box has faded.
Playfield is pretty decent. It has factory mylar which is bubbling in places but no nasty wear patches or anything. Boards are all in good order.
As with the Earthshaker, I have not done anything to this game since I bought it but it was shopped by previous owner and is still nice and clean with good rubbers etc.

Any questions just give me a shout.

I've taken a load of pics but it was pretty sunny so I may re-do them. Here they are anyway.

Looks nice!

Just a couple of quickies just incase people are not 100% up to speed on BOP. How are the usual wear areas? and do you have the original black legs?

I leave Mylar well alone. Unless you intend to clear coat it. Removal will inevitably lift the insert artwork, resulting in insert decals , resulting in a bumpier surface than you started with, with bubbled Mylar.

Mylar was made in hell by Satans bunion. Its like the ying/yang of playfield protection............ Do I, don't I? ARGGHHHHHH.

I wonder if those bubbles could be made a little more pleasing to the eye? Syringe to suck the air out?

I think I'd risk it in this situation it would do my head in. Anyway someone buy this machine
Do you like playing pinball on a bare wooden playfield ?
Very very risky to do without causing damage or making it a lot worse.

Arnt bops ment to be diamond clear coated or was that only some? Anyway back on topic some one but it lol

I had mylar lift on me on a super nice Scared stiff playfield. Using freeze spray too. It was all going great until the last little bit, which ended up pulling a good 20cm of art clean off the wood. Luckily it stuck back down but had to have fresh mylar hold it in place. Total nightmare.

Now, I wouldn't even bother trying if the machine still played well.

Problems with badly bubbled Mylar is ball deflection , it diverts the ball from a true line.

I wonder if that could be made better with a syringe?

Forget it, dirt would get in (be rubbed in) and then (eventually) make it a lot worse. You only have to see the lifting edges of old mylar to know that...

i read a fix of bubbled mylar by using a pin to make a hole and then using a cocktail stick and laquer which draws it into the bubble and in effect, re-sticking the mylar back down. Dont know if this is just rubbish though, never tried it.

Am i the only one who prefers BOP in faded purple that the original blue?

I'm pretty sure that's for clear coat that's delaminated from inserts.
