This will be my first year attending and plan to attend Friday to Sunday. For those with non-pinball spouses or significant others, what are some things to do near there? Wife would be interested in day spa, parks, gardens, history and shopping.... Thanks in advance.

There's a good chippy up the road that's about it.
Northampton is close which I imagine would fit the bill though (we popped across there after events on Sunday last year, had a TGI Friday's but seemed an alright area in general)

There's quite a few places in and around Northamptonshire.
Not sure on day spa's but there's a lot of country houses, etc.

Parks/Gardens
Boughton House: https://www.boughtonhouse.co.uk/
Deene Park: https://deenepark.com/
Wicksteed Park: https://wicksteedpark.org/
Coton Manor Garden: https://www.cotonmanor.co.uk/
Cottesbrooke Hall & Gardens: https://www.cottesbrooke.co.uk/

Shopping
Rushden Lakes: https://rushdenlakes.com/ (free parking for 5 hours, or if you go speak to someone in the information booth as you drive in, can be extended to midnight)
Grosvenor Northampton: https://www.grosvenorshoppingnorthampton.co.uk/

Not too much in terms of great shopping to be honest, I'd recommend Rushden Lakes as a day out as it has a great cinema, places to eat etc. Just get there early as parking can be a nightmare later in the day.

Historical
Lamport Hall & Gardens: https://www.lamporthall.co.uk/
Foxton Locks: https://www.foxtoncanalmuseum.org/
Kirby Hall: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/kirby-hall/ (part of English Heritage be prepared to pay a small fortune to get in)
Kenilworth Castle: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/kenilworth-castle/ (Same as above)

Hope that gives you some ideas.

Thanks! This is extremely helpful and very thorough. Really appreciate you taking the time to put this together. 👏🙏🙏

Daventry Country Park's about a 15 minute walk away from the hotel. Nice walk around the reservoir and there's an ice cream shop too. We'll be taking a walk out to the park at some point during the weekend.

Pool , sauna , steam room and gym at hotel
Plus in my je past there was a beautician there - I have had a massage , facial , nails done etc there at the mercury hotel .
Princess Diana grave near by at Althrop house 👍

British Motor Museum is 30 mins / 20 miles away.

Great place to visit particularly of you like jags as they have the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection there which has practically every jaguar model made and they let you walk amongst them.
