Hi all, up for sale is a NGG, from WPC-95.
No Good Go(l)fers is a golf pinball game loosely based on the film Caddyshack. It was released by Williams in 1997, designed by Pat Lawlor and John Youssi, and sold around 2,700. NGG is still placed inside the top 100 on Pinside (here) (and here) and inside the top 30 on IPDB (here), not bad for a 28 year old game. Pat Lawlor, of course, is also famous for designing some others you may have heard of, such as TAF, TZ, FH, RS, and a dozen or so others. (OK, nobody shouts about CSI or Monopoly, but Earthshaker, Whirlwind, Safe Cracker, Banzai Run, Ripley's, Family Guy....).
The good: lovely playfield and ramps, decal under slam ramp, no errors, recently cleaned and serviced. It's a mid-90s Williams game with great pedigree.
The bad: cabinet has some scratches and dings (gouges), DMD is a funny looking creature, CPU has been replaced with a Rottendog. And it's about golf.
I sold my first Gofers in 2018 for £3,000 (it wasn't as nice as this) and have no idea what they fetch now as they seldom come up and market is all over the place. So i'll start higher than i think it'll sell for, and reduce by £50 a day until it's gone. Feel free to contact me and make an offer if you don't want to wait. Part exchanges always a possibility. Martin Palfreyman and Matt Vince have both been here many times. Located in West London W5 2AL.
Loads of pics below, and here's a short boot-up video so you know it's not a lemon:
I should think that's probably more than enough, but if you want to see something specific, just ask. Game comes with no guarantee whatsoever, except that i guarantee it will go wrong at some point and need fixing. It's a pin FFS, they're more complicated than a car. Prefer therefore to sell to someone who's had pins before, but not a dealbreaker and will happily sell to a n00b with the proviso that there is no after sale service provided - i'll help out on the phone or by email if needed, or ask on here, but once it's gone, it's your problem and not mine. So come and play it by all means before you buy if you like. West London, 8 mins walk from Ealing Broadway tube.
Here's a proper video of it on YouTube:
