Well the weekend is finaly over and its time to recover,, and plan for next year.
Time for the thanks..
first off and most important is the people who loaned their machines, 59 machines at any event is fantastic,
We had a loyalty draw on the Saturday night, every pin was numbered and a coresponding raffle ticket was put in a bag and drawn, each winner was allocated a translite kindly donated by Gary Stern, these will be posted out in the next few days, Thanks Gary.
Thanks to all the people who contributed prizes for the raffle, I will not name any single person in case I miss anyone out but the support was fantastic.
Thanks go out to members of the pinball community who stepped in to help without being asked, they policed the corridor, they looked out for anyone who needed help, didnt know how to start a machine, had a problem with a machine etc etc.
Also the ones who kept the machines running all weekend, 9 hours of playing none stop caused a few poblems.
Thanks go out to our affiliates and supporters for all their input, hopefully this will be the start of a long going relationship.
Thanks to everyone who visited, be it pinheads or "normal" people as Poibug calls them, we hope to see you again next year.
Comp and raffle winners will be announced through the site once the dust settles and we all catch up on our sleep.
A special thanks to Steve Ritchie (or Steve Richie as the Slam call him) for the good luck video, it was well apretiated.
Thank you to The Teenage Cancer trust whom I am sure you will agree do a brilliant job for young cancer sufferers and especialy to Sarah and her hubby who came along to represent them on the Sunday.
Thanks to Dave Moore and Replay for inviting us to attend, without them there would have never been a show.
And last but not least Thanks to all the NLPS Crew who pulled together so well, the Replay guys were so impressed with how smoothly it seemed to run and how well everyone worked together
