They do come up from time to time on eBay. Along with early (pre speech) Bally SS games like Harlem Globetrotters they not tend to go for big money. If you can, I would respectfully advise you play the long game, avoid overpaying, and wait for sellers to appear
the May 11th post looks out of place considering the record breaker of a price of the one currently on eBay. Nice game nice art but its before Bally really added the bells and whistles of the stone cold classics
Great game, features in many of the classic tournaments on the continent.
I have two, one is nearing completion of full restoration, cab repaired and repainted by @new forest pinball with me fitting new playfield, new plastics and new backglass, re-pinning connectors, etc. If someone offered £5.5k then I'd probably sell it. The second one I am deciding if I want to repeat the process or sell it as is as a mega project. If it's as is then I'd be looking for £2,250 for that you get a wreck of a game, new playfield, new plastics and new backglass. Interestingly CPR are currently sold out of playfields for this game so I'm glad I bought it when I did. That said I have a lot of other projects on that I'd like to crack on with so I'm probably going down the route of selling as a mega project. Very satisfying once it's complete and certainly has a wow factor about it.
Simpler option is to buy the one on ebay at the moment that is finishing today...
My one came from the legendary Duke of Lancaster raid masterminded by @Alpha1. It came up well after al the inserts were glued back and boards sorted. More fade than the one on ebay but it had been stood next to a porthole for 30 years!!
.....love this video.. @Alpha1@Matt Adams . Oliver is a living legend, rescuing arcade/pinball machines. If he was a member of x-men this would be his special ability.
Thing is, currently I wonder how long it will be until we need to plan a rescue of Oli himself from one of his lockup’s.
When his wife reports not seeing him for a couple of days........
