Hi

Trying to sort some lamp holders out and, don't know how, but have managed to blow the lamp output 7 on Z2 flip flop. At least i think it is just the transistor. The Lamp glows dimly but does try and flash when it is supposed to, so i suspect mr Flip flop is okay for now. I checked Q8 and it tests out differently to all other transistors for neighbouring lamps with the field wiring disconnected. I have not removed from the PCB though.

The transistor is a NPN MPS-A13.

I do have a couple of transistors, will any of these work correctly: -

2N 4401 GE752 and a 2N 3904 T052.

If the above wont work, what is the modern day equivalent please?

Also how does one figure out an equivalent transistor?

Cheers

JB
