New SW DE code

Hello Everyone,
Being the new owner of a DE SW, i discovered this site www.pinballcode.com.

It seems to have links and downloads to a new version of the firmware with some rule changes and bug fixes for my machine.
I have two questions, has anyone used this site to download new code.?
Has anyone got a blank ROM and programmer that could download the V1.06 for me.....obviously i know there is a cost associated.
