Mylar - What Type and Where From?

Question - I've been doing some touch-up on a game and I was looking to fit some Mylar over the areas I am working on. I see RS can supply it - but what thickness are people using for this application? Or if you have any other suggestions for a supplier then thats great.

Is mylar still the best or is there anything else I should be considering?

as for other considerations it depends what/how much touch ups i suppose

couple of pins now ive just used a full playfield protector but depends what/how much touch ups i guess.
Solves the risk of any further wear due to unlevel inserts at the same time.

This is great, I was struggling to find some!
3 mil? Is that how thick it is? Seems a lot?

I assumed that it was actually .3 millimetre
