Ok
Time has come to sell my Mr & Mrs Pac-man pinball
due to a baby just about here and the fact I need to finish my VW camper conversion so my insurance doesn’t become invalid this has to go!
I got the a few months ago non-working, I have fix the corrosion on the MPU, replaced the faulty chips, replaced all the capacitors, removed peeling Mylar etc.
It is now all working properly, all switches function and score, and all the displays a vivid and all bulbs working. ( I noticed the other day 2 of the pac maze bulbs seem to interminttley work, so hopefully this is just a loose wire but I haven’t had a chance to look at it)
The playfield is in ok condition with some touch ups here and there, it’s no way a show winner but is not a dog and still plays well.
All the plastics are there with one having a one end snapped off but still fixed down to the machine
The scoring backglass is in good condition with no missing artwork, the main backglass is not in great condition, it has been bubbling and flakes have fallen off. I have stuck these flakes down and given the backglass 1 coat of Tripple thick (rest of the can included with the machine!) the backglass could do with a few touch-ups where I has stuck the bits down, but is not that obvious while playing
The Cabinet is faded and has some chips out the back but is solid
This is a great machine to play. It’s not a show winner but is all working. This would be an ideal 1st machine or for someone with the painting skills and time to finish the visual clean-up of the pin
I will be sad to see it go but I need to finish my camper as it’s my only form of transport! (I will save up for a replacement pin for a winter project
)
comes with original manual & schematics
Looking for £350, hopefully this is a fair price for the machine. I thought I would put it up here first before trying eBay!
Viewings welcome in Bristol
