Does anyone on here know how to effectively value and sell a modern classic please?.
I have a 94 Merc SL500 with 37,000 miles. Garaged, well maintained, all working, paintwork has been done and is virtually flawless ....
These things are reasonably common and were comfortably below ten grand all day long ten years ago.
They cost over £70k in the early 90s. Condition now varies enormously from runners with phenomenally expensive to fix electrical or hood faults right up to no expense spared, one rich elderley owner minters.
When I look at autotrader for cars below 60k miles, prices vary from £12.5k to £35k which sounds outrageous.
High teens for mine would be my guess, but I don't want to get screwed.
