Up for grabs is my impulse buy Meteor. Have put so much work into it that I haven't even had a full game on it yet. Anyway, ended up buying Spooky and Magic castle so the space is needed.
The good:
- Every single mech taken off the playfield, cleaned and hand polished (at least 40 hours spent doing this)
- brand new bumper skirts, bodies and caps
- brand new drop targets
- brand new shooter rod, springs and housing
- brand new flipper bats
- playfield has been completely stripped down cleaned and waxed, starposts cleaned and new rubbers installed
- Top of the playfield has been LED'd with warm whites
- all cabinet looms cleaned, transformer cleaned and replaced missing/shabby signs inside.
The bad:
- Playfield has been touched up around the meteor targets and by the rockets
- Cabinet a little tough but as to be expected for a game of this age
I probably overpaid for this and after putting in a lot of time and money into workshopping this - I'm asking £1600 which is very little more than what I paid and will not take offers.
