Hi all
i have received a skull pile for installation but there are no instructions and I cannot even find a YouTube clip! I am about a 3 out of 10 in maintenance ability. I have added some lighting, game blades, simple mods and shaker motors historically but am not sure how to instal this simple looking mod. I believe it goes over the right scoop. Can anybody please advise? It’s probably a 5 minute job if you know what you are doing, but I don’t 😀 Thanks so much

I wouldn’t use crocodile clips, if you’re taping off an existing lamp then use them to test but then solder!
Not a mod I’ve seen before for Metallica? Where’s it from?
……ah modfather? - no instructions as it’s suggested use is on a few different pins. You basically stick it where you want.

Thanks - sadly “taping off an existing lamp then use them to test but then solder” means I have probably overscored my 3 out of 10 😬

Clips are used on loads of light up mods, find where you want to stick mod, run cables to nearby lamp on underside of table and clip on the wires on either side of it. Simples.

And feel really stupid if the clips vibrate lose, short something out & blow one of your boards 🤦🏼‍♂️

Really that simple? Ok, I will give it a go when home tomorrow. And nothing can go wrong!! 😄. I guess if they fall off I just reattach - or learn how to solder! Thank you

No - that was supposed to say ‘feel’ not ‘fell’, I’ve soldered from day 1, useful skill to learn.
I think this little task will be the catalyst to learn how to solder - I’m sure lots of teachings on YouTube. Cheers
