Hey,

I'm listing this to gauge interest as I'm not sure I want to sell. If the price is right then I may let it go.

Metallica Pro (newer LED model) with now unavailable Total Lightshow mod. It can't be stressed how much this adds to a pro model.

It's immaculate HUO, no issues whatsoever. Perfect cabinet and playfield. Not a scratch in sight.

Mods:

ColorDMD - LED version (better for angled backbox)
Creeping death art blades and speaker surrounds.
Master of Puppets LE translite (also have original pro translite)
Custom Metallica topper (highly collectible Metallica figures which are £200 a set now at least)
Snake teeth, tongue and extra green LED under playfield
Metallica 'M' speaker plastics
Coloured FUEL meter and target inserts
Custom instruction cards
Sparky protecter plastic.
Metallica guitar pics on right ramp
Colywobbles new brushed silver coin door plaque
Purple perfectplay rubbers
Skull coffin lock inserts

If you like your games mint, then look no further. In no rush to sell and not even sure I want to! But toying with turning games room into a cinema room.

Based near Chelmsford, Essex. Any questions please ask.

Price £6000

That looks very nice! Good luck with the sale.

Off topic question, what is the machine next to it, I cannot work it out and it’s bugging me 😂

Ha it's the Iron Maiden that was sold today to Andy S! It's given me the push to consider making a cinema room

Consider this:
Want to see a movie.... go to the local cinema.
Want to play pinball..... go to the local arcade and........ no Pins!
That kinda talk is asking for a banning mister!

@Theseeker - He's after one isn't he?

Several years ago I converted my pinroom into a cinema room!
It meant me losing 2 pins as that’s all the new gamesroom (summer room) would hold and not comfortably tbh as I had to move every pin to remove the glass for maintenance.
The Cinema room was great but after a year or so turned into a once a week/fortnight thing whereas my pins are forever getting tinkered with and played daily.
I made the decision to go back to square one and no regrets. I now have 2 x 65in high end OLED TVs with adaquate sound bars that fit the bill and we now watch more movies and Netflix than ever before.
Nothing comes close to a cinema room if it’s done right with controlled lighting and high end equipment so I’m sure yours will be everything and more so good luck with your project.
Just one caveat that I have got to add! There is absolutely nothing that come close to the lure of the silver ball, it’s a tempting mistress that will never let your mind rest when you goto bed at night.

My cinema room was great when the kids were young, I built it in about 2003. Top end Barco projector, 100” screen, 2 x15’“ subs and B&W, 12 cinema seats, A/C etc
Kids loved it and had cinema parties which all their friends really enjoyed. Was an amazing room and the subs shook the fook out of it😂
That was used for about 10 years, still there and works but robbed it for the subs and speakers for house and pinroom.
Room is full of stuff for storage, if I could afford more pins I might have turned it into another pinroom. Was thinking 80’s but even they cost too much these days😔

Like Col, a 65” OLED with decent sound system in the living area is good enough these days😎

I'm thinking 65 inch oled and Atmos sound system will replace the pinroom. I don't have a big house and use my converted garage for a pinroom. Im also big into playstation and just picked up a PS5. PS5 is in the lounge which I never get a chance to play as have a wife and daughter. Feel a bit selfish using the whole garage for myself, so considering keeping the one pinball and then having th OLED aswell

In my Games Room (converted garage), I have two cinema chairs and a 70 inch LCD. During lockdown this was a lifesaver with the family, as we all went out there to watch films and it felt like we were out of home. So I can see why you want it more family friendly.

Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Ain’t that the truth 😎 I got out o it 17 years ago. Sold all my 14 pins. And now, 17 years later, it’s lured me back in lol much to to my horror with the prices 😂 if only I’d kept just 1 or 2 of them… sigh.

A home cinema is great, even better now with streaming from HBO max , you can watch big movies the same day they get a cinema release.
I have had a few big TVs and most films still have the black bars, not many fill the 16:9 screen, so even a big TV can still look small.
Not fancy a projector ?
You can't beat size and once that screen fills the wall it really feels like a cinema.
Will be great to see what you install, don't forget the Apple TV box which will give you all the best content.
I went for a projector, Klipsch speakers and Yamaha amp.

Love my cinema room, and as I hate going to the cinema with people slurping, chewing , chatting etc .
have an atmos B & W system with 4 k projector, Yamaha amp and I like it for reading and watching films.
Also have atoms system and new Samsung 75“ qled tv in bedroom, but still use cinema room for films but bedroom for series 😀
