Metallica Pro trough eject power

Is there any way of adjusting the trough eject power to reduce wear to the shooter lane?

I was expecting to find it in the adjustments menu like on my newer Sterns. Strangely the Snake and Crank It Up eject power was in there but nothing for the trough.

Am I missing something or is the only solution just fitting a shooter lane protector?

Don’t think there is power adjustment . I guess you could try a weaker coil . Or yeah …. fit a protector .
