Hi all, I’m after a used Medieval Madness playfield in literally any condition good or bad.

I’m building a MM from scratch and have a mirco playfield with Kruzman as I speak.
My problem is that I haven’t got a MM for reference and really want to trial fit mechs etc to a used playfield first rather than straight onto the Kruzman cleared playfield and also check dimple/ hole placement, size and screw type.

Plus I’m an absolute novice to pinball restoration/re-theming and want to keep mistakes to a minimum and as I’ve not even attempted a playfield swap before let alone a scratch build I think it would be invaluable for the build.

Can’t imagine there’s too many about but you never know.
Many thanks in advance 🙏

I will definitely 👍. Getting on for a year collecting parts ( which is a massive task in itself 😫)

Good news is that the mirco playfield comes dimpled and the dimples are in the correct place.

If you want to borrow my original mm playfield you are welcome to but I want it back.

Paul

Hi Paul, that’s great news that it’s dimpled mate.
But I really want a side by side comparison playfield as well and as I said be able to test fit as I go.
Thanks for the loan offer and I may well take you up on it, but ideally I’m after one that I’m not going to be concerned if I mess it up somehow.
Hope you’re keeping well and you’re definitely going to be getting photo requests 😂

Still on the hunt for one.
From the valuations thread looking to at £150 and up price wise rising on condition.
If anyone’s got one, drop me a message and we can come to a deal 👍

That's interesting I never thought of building one from scratch I'm assuming all the specific parts are available or do you have to trawl and beg for the elusive plastic 🤭 specific ramp

MM is probably the one title with the most amount of off the shelves parts.
However , how often they are on that shelf is hit and miss.
I’ve been collecting parts for nearly a year and am not there yet and I had a head start as the donor pin came with a load of MM parts to start with.
It’s a great challenge and I’m enjoying it immensely so far but cost can be an issue and is mounting up,as I’m sure you can relate to, after your epic LOTR resto.

Sounds expensive 🤭🤣

Looking through Marco the parts would add up, restoring you never do for profit it's rarely possible to deliver to a high standard nitb box feel without going way above what it's worth, there are a couple of exceptions

Yeh I went all out loony on LOTR bought the last of everything, something to be honest I would never do again,I was incredibly lucky the pinball bubble was peeking when I sold it.

I’ve got **** tons of MM parts but will only release them once I’ve done mine which won’t be until autumn. I’ll only sell as a job lot though (I can’t remember if you got trolls or not with yours)

Some parts to be included:

Full troll assemblyx2
Used playfield
Used plastic ramps
One or 2 of the habitrails
Plastic set (probably used)
Cab decals
Empty WPC 95 cab
A lot more but I’m not sure what

Thanks Paul, good price on those. I bought a set from Mr pinball for 3x the price last year 🤦‍♂️
