Title says it all
Don’t really fancy a remake due to having loads of spares for an original and not sure if I trust the reliability of the new anymore than I would the lifespan of a Samsung washing machine
Thx

Apart from the electronics the spares are almost identical.

I’m after a remake but they don’t come up very often

TBH everytime I get a CGC remake out the box I smile.

I just love what they have done. Do yourself a favour and do not underestimate the remake. Buy a new MBrm, get the large screen and sell your spare WPC95 boardset. Two year warranty (blah blah)......

Funny mine made its way down steps with head off and into my van then through the mountains of north Wales to South Wales for 3 hours over bumpy/windy roads and was still working. Must of had those special shock absorbent SMD’s.
Think I better turn the shaker motor off though if that’s true.

I believe the remakes have been around since 2015; is there really a history of numerous board failures then; I do however hear of many other manufacturers having problems that one would not expect.
I have owned each of the CGC remakes and they have been free from issue.

I’d of thought SMD would be less prone to shock as far lighter then heavier TH components?
