I opened a drawer full of old memory cards and USB memory sticks, ranging in size from 32MB up. To think I used to put one of those tiny cards in my camera, and was over the moon when I got a 1GB USB stick.
Anyway, Maplins are selling USB sticks now at £4 for a 4GB, £6 for an 8GB, £10 for a 16GB, £18 for a 32GB or £30 for a 64GB stick. I could fit around 80-100 full length films on there!
Memory cards for photo and video are also on sale - a 16GB card is a tenner.
Or you can get a 2TB external hard drive to back up the entire contents of several laptops for £80
