Hey soldiers.... I have been out in the Atlantic provinces of Canada/Newfoundland for the past month.

Not much pinball action out here.... but this place is a must visit if you are in the Quebec City area. Pins, vids all on freeplay.... and good beer, and live bands !

Macfly Barcade - loosely Back To The Future themed [emoji3] Guessing they called it Macfly to avoid any licensing issues??

Mcfly! Mcfly!?! Anyone in there?? [emoji3]

More details and pics/full game list will be added when I get back.

OK - back home and getting sorted out.

I loved this place, in the Saint Roche area of Quebec City, outside the city walls, redeveloped area, less rinky dink touristy, more of a hipster vibe - lots of restaurants, bars etc.

No admission, as long as you are buying some drinks/food ALL the games are on Freeplay - I did find a couple of vids uncredited but I guess if you ask them they will sort that out. As all of Canada the staff were super friendly

The bar is loosely themed on Back To The Future - there is some 50s style memorobilia/artefacts, they have a funky little TV playing BTTF, the toilets are identified by George McFly for boys, and Lorraine for the girls :D

They also have enough space in the main area to have live music, when we were there on a Saturday afternoon they had a guitar duo soundchecking ...they sounded pretty cool ...think Pulp Fiction/Surf garage rock kind of thing

Full bar with decent Boreale brews on tap, and they do hot dog type foods as well to soak up the booze I think.

3 main areas .......

Main room - the bar, 6 pins, cocktail vid, jukebox, some seating

2nd room - more seating, table football game, Star Wars Cockpit (switched off) , and I think there was some sort of multi game vid up in one corner too

Video game area - off the 2nd room , long space with vids lining the walls

In total 6 pinball machines, 27 video games, jukebox, table football.
