Looking to potentially get a second pin - either LotR or ST:TNG.

Not imminently, as I need to sell some stuff to fund the purchase, but - if you’re thinking of selling in the next few months- let me know.

We’re also interested in Medieval Madness (original for ease of fixability), but not for a long while as we don’t have the space and they cost a fortune.

Pin needs to be in playable condition, but not collector’s condition. I can repair (or learn to repair) minor faults if you’re someone who isn’t interested in that side of the hobby - but, please, be upfront about them as I know ST:TNG, in particular, is a repair beast.

Let me know how much you potentially want for the pin by PM or on the thread.

I chuckle when I hear such tosh! - there is nothing hard about fixing anything on MMR - the hard thing is finding something that needs fixing! MMR is one the machines I've had the longest and in terms of needing fixes I think I had one issue with a screw coming loose on a switch.

Read this thread here:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/documenting-the-entire-life-of-a-medieval-madness-remake

Three years and a handful of mechanical fixes (pretty much all of which would apply to an original MM)

Sold for $6200. Total earnings over $17k. Total plays 26,219.

What a great run. So after 3 years the game profited about $6700 - probably had $500 in parts. Quite a few hours in labor.

$6700 ÷ 36 months comes out to about $172 a month. Our business has 2 owners at 50/50 split so it looks like we made about $86 a month each on average

Super happy with everything. Game was a tank and heald up great. Playfield still looks like newish!

And here I was… thinking you’d posted to offer me a machine 😇

I put my name down with Pinball Heaven for the next factory run of the remake in a couple of years. Then, I discovered the insert lighting for MMR looks to be on a single big board. I know LEDS *should* last 10-12 years, but I’m not sure I want to stake £100+ on that - given I can swap out the Comets on my FT for ~£1 each.

Coming into this, I figured it was a hobby made up mainly of people who liked tinkering with old kit. Turns out that isn’t necessarily the case… 🤷

That’s not to say the remakes are poor quality. They’re evidently not.

I will have a STTNG available at PinFest
Timing not great, unfortunately 😢

I won’t have my auction done for a month (at least), and that’s the ‘toy budget’…

If it’s still there after Pinfest, I might be interested (obviously).
