This is for sale or possible trade.
Home use only, bought from Pinball Heaven by original owner, then I believe it went to Fubar and that’s who I bought it off.
UK skill post version with protectors covering the buttons [emoji106]
Original incandescent bulbs which I think is the way to go on this pin as it uses dimming a lot and looks very atmospheric. Some of the flashers are LED.
The back-box strip light is LED but as LOTR suffers from quite bad reflection on the playfield glass (due to the playfield not being super bright) I’ve installed an LED strip at the bottom of the back box aiming up and unplugged the strip light. This gives the translite a nice glow but completely eliminates any reflection - this is completely reversible too.
Photos don’t do it justice but see below:
So....the bad:
Small piece of paint missing on side rail due to lock bar (see photo)
Very minor scuffs to cabinet art, minor scratches to glass (none of these are too bad at all)
Shire VUK plastic has small crack at the bottom, hardly noticeable but worth mentioning.
The good!:
Mirror blades
Shaker motor
NVRAM fitted - no batteries needed!
3 extra figures installed (these were missing when this game was released?!)
Pinball Pro speakers and sub upgrade - very deep bass, all adjustable
Red LED lights up Baran Dur tower (subtle but looks great)
Arwen plastic is in perfect condition & protected by a Colywobbles protector (spare also included)
Red LED inside Baran Dur tower (subtle but looks great)
Manual, key ring etc all included
Colour LCD DMD
All works perfectly, the ring magnet has never blown a fuse [emoji106] (just google this issue if you’re unaware)
I paid £4700 but there’s been a few of these about recently so would accept £4500 or open to possible trades (GOTG, AC/DC - other Sterns considered)
