I think I've got a limit switch failing. Three pins. There is continuity with the multimeter between the two outside pins. (wire and diodes) but not between the two pins with wires soldered to them, regardless of the switch position.

Where is the best place to look for spare?

What's the purpose of a diodes on the switch?

Cheers.

to stop reverse volts??
perhaps put up a picture of said switch
and what machine its for:)

the diode is to isolate the switch on the switch matrix

Think I've cracked it.
I soldered a new limit switch (too small but same pin out) and diodes on and ran the switch test menu. Worked fine.
Then tested the old one out of the game. Seemed fine. But the metal lever / clip was wobbling sideways. I've squeezed it closed and it seems fine.
