Well while I was at a loose end today I decided to "borrow" some heavy duty velvet from work. This stuff is really foot it's about 3mm thick and much stronger than felt. We use it on some body armour covers on the shoulder to stop rifle butt slippage. As I'm a pattern maker / designer by trade I decided to make some protectors. I managed to to find a stern template and changed the size and shape for the shadow.

They do look good. Make some extra pairs and bribe people over with them. :)

I was thinking of offering some as a thank you to anyone that helps me solve my coil issues.

Also got another idea in the pipeline. When my bits from Andy come and start the strip down. I want to make a pattern for protectors for the 2 plastics under battlefield. I've got a couple companies willing to machine cut some petg quite cheap. So watch this space
