Last Action Hero F7 Fuse blowing

Hi everyone,

Me again, just going through the problens on my LAH fingers crossed this is the last one 🤞.

So on the power supply board there is a fuse F7 0.5A Slo-Blo for the display.

This fuse keeps blowing when i turn the machine on, sometimes it lasts awhile sometimes the next power cycle,

Now i know you shouldn't over fuse ever however i had to to fix another issue so i went up to 1amp Slo Blo and this does not blow ever.

I dont want to keep the 1amp fuse in there incase there is a serious problem, what could be causing this issue?

Ive dismantled the dmd and everything looks fine bit dusty but no blown components.

I do need to take the board with the fuse off to look at that but thats how far i am, if anyone has had the same issue or knows what it might be or where to start looking that would be great.

Just another quick look and looks like CN1 connector looks a little burnt could this be the problem?
 
Just to add I need one of these connectors but can only find on marco which is usa, anyone know where i can get these in uk?

That gives you both sides... the PCB side and the wiring side by the looks of it....

These things arent cheap any more... a lot of the time they arent available!

Yer true ive ordered it, thank you for the link! If its gotta be done its gotta be done hope that fixes the problem, got to be changed either way
