Lane change has stopped working on my Bad Cats. Am i right in thinking its one of the 3 opto couplers on the inter connect board. 4n25?

Yes, paddy, but I'm not sure which is which. There's one for each flipper, and the third for showing that the 'solenoid extender' relay is energised. If you've got the game manual, it'll probably mention which is for the r/h flipper on the board schematic, or the solenoid power wiring diagram. Failing that, it should be possible to trace the relevant switch matrix wire colours from the connecting pins up to the chip.
Edit - according to the manual for Earthshaker, which has the same interconnect pcb, the r/h lane change is operated from U3. Check the 3.3K, 5 watt resistor too (R15?).
