Wanted Jurassic Park Pinball Machine

Have emailed him off forum asking for pics before he posts them on yahoo group so will see what shape its in.
 
Haha you never know, especially lately with that TOM which was supposedly a good'un and came from a reputable chap. The guy selling is supposed to be decent enough. Have enquired about two this week (this one and another) and heard nothing back. I know nothing on how to fix them so can't take a technical project on, thats why my add is for a very good condition one. I don't mind learning basics, which im sure I will have to do with a pin of this age and it being DE) :)
 
The Jurassic Park is mine. And it is for sale along with others due to my decision to pay off my Mastercard.

It is tentatively sold until I hear back from the buyer. If not i'll post pix on here and ukvac.com

Up for a minty JP wanted :) I enquired with the Tatty Adams chap on ebay who is selling a Corvettewith JP in background but his isn't going anywhere. Nice guy though.

Asked for some close up playfield pics and had the reply "it's wedged in the games room, can't take pics, can't even get the glass off."

Another dead end by the sounds but have replied stressing how far I am and serious buyer etc. Would jump in the car but its 4 hours away. I guess he will just end it early if you contact and offer 1k.
 
Yeah, that's an odd response from the seller. Still, if he IS prepared to end the auction early for a £1000 offer and is prepared to accept payment when you go to collect then I'd risk it for a machine I really wanted. I did that with my FT - but I made the mistake letting my desire overcome the game's obvious faults and bought it anyway, but that's me all over. Fixed it all up now :)
 
From the looks of it, I'd still consider it. The scoops on the left hand side are the high wear areas and they look OK in the photo. Normally these are significantly worn down.

Might be worth seeing if anyone in the local area will give it the once over for you. A little ominous that there's no pics of the cab. Mine was in a dreadful state.

Even if it turns out to be a dog you'd probably still be able to resell it for a grand so really the risk would be the transport cost.

Suspect I'll still get a JP again in the future but at the moment I've still got my LAH and they are too similar to have both.
 
Thanks for advice guys, noted :) Will see what his 2nd reply is and go from there. Hopefully some kind soul from that area would check it out if I needed them to.
