Hi guys,
I am hoping someone can help me with a problem that developed yesterday with my Junk Yard.
It had a slight problem where the DMD "flickered" constantly, but it flickered so fast it wasn't too much of an issue, as you could still see the scores and graphics etc. Anyway, I got the capacitors on the driver board changed and hey-presto, the display then worked perfectly!
This was about a week ago, and I've not been able to play it because I could not get to the machine easily. Anyway, I went to play it yesterday and after a short time, probably within 10 minutes, the display started flickering and the whole imagine started "shaking", flashing on and off, and eventually went off. I had my phone on me and managed to take a video of this - here it is on Youtube:
http://youtu.be/uzHb-KtVQVU
Now, when I switch on there is no display at all
I have checked the cable linking the display the board and that seems ok, and Phil at PH (who did the capacitor repair) believes it may be a CPU issue.
Can anyone give me any advice on what I could check to try and find the fault, and hopefully resolve it?
Other than the display everything else seems fine, and you can play a game etc.
Many thanks,
Mark
