JP Jeep Sticking

Getting the dreaded but very common issue of the jeep on JP sticking and not returning to base very easily.

Had a read up on pinside but of course people recommend stuff only available in the USA (You can get it here but not cheap, about £17 a can and if I only need a tiny amount I don't really want to buy an entire can of the stuff recommended there). Is there anything available locally that would do the job? I thought about WD-40 but it says specifically not use it, although there is silicone WD-40. Would that be OK?

@Sam C would something like this do the job? I use it on EM's mainly for it's dielectric properties but it's great for any metal on metal touch points:

I'll take a look, it's just the pinside thread said not to use WD-40 or any grease. Silicone based lube only apparently.

Cheers, I was just thrown off because it also has 'grease' in the title!

I remember this being recommended for spinners so may also be suitable.

I had this with My JP it was a pretty straight forward fix tbh. A little bit of lube and it made all the difference.

Just an update the lube worked a treat. Jeep is now spinning much better. I'll keep an eye on it but did the trick!
